Octagon 4k HDD no storage device found

just received the above box with openatv 6.0 and I have a few issues.

1- i installed a hdd, but I get "no storage devices found" when i try to initialize.

2- installed softcam oscam atv 1.2 11353. I ftp'd my config files to tuxbox (had to make new folder called config and put in there, there was not one showing). but not working

The oscam folder is in /usr/keys/ on ATV.

Maybe try and initialise the hdd on your pc first?

On ATV the config files go into /usr/keys only not into any other folder.

I have had to use Ncam myself as Oscam was a pain(probably due to me).
    Ncam worked first time.

Fitting the HDD was over fiddly with the cables not having enough room to fold back on them selfs could have done with 2 cables instead of the one that splits in two.

I guess that was my biggest complaint ... a backward step when you have receivers like the ET8500 where the HDD just slides into the box .... and the cables are very stiff ... apart from the 13 screws you have to play with
