Picture freezes when I attempt to change channel from freeview to satellite channel

    Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum and hoping there may be a solution offered to the problem I currently have with my Z Gemma 2S box. I bought the box in July last year and after a relatively shaky start (the satellite channels would freeze regularly) I had generally good service from my line provider and the box. Now, early last week, I noticed that the box was only displaying the freeview channels. When I attempted to change the channel to view a satellite channel, the info for the satellite channel would appear at the bottom of the screen, but the freeview channel would stay and remain frozen. To unfreeze the picture I have to select another freeview channel.

I have tried everything within my limited knowledge to try and resolve the problem. I have asked the line provider if there is an issue with the server which he said there hadn't been. He states that there may be a problem with my satellite dish, but I carried out a physical check and there doesn't appear to be any damage. In addition, I've checked whether the box is receiving a satellite signal and it appears to be the case. I still have a valid subscription for the line so I haven't been cut off. I've asked the line provider / guy I bought the box from to offer some troubleshooting tips, but he's not interested. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated. My box uses VIX.

We do not support your receiver. We don't even make an image for it. Best to flash an image that supports your receiver.

We don't support line activities either.

    You just accepted the rules!
