    Cool TV guide

    Hi. New here, so apologies if I'm asking in the wrong section...
    Technomate.TM-TWIN-OE.

    I recently had to do a factory reset as I was getting the Cool TV Guide upgrade nag screen.
    As I've discovered, the upgrade link is no good.. The problem I now have is that when I hit EPG button to record, the guide briefly comes up and then returns to the nag screen again so not possible to set record details..
    I don't have an internet connection on the box so can I download the update elsewhere, save it to USB key and load it that way?
    I'm reluctant to mess with any settings as I've no idea what I''m doing!

    What image are you using as Cool TV Guide is not a ViX feature.

    You lost me at 'Image' Andy !
    If I could get the TV guide up, I could tell you , but I can't..
    The only way I can record is via the timers page so something has changed...(No EPG)

    press menu, information , about and you will see image.

    No, don't run away...


    Well, I finally downloaded the update whatsit, put it on a USB thingy and followed the instructions.. Stop me if I'm getting too technical, ok?
    After 3 attempts and several changes of USB stick it finally worked!
