    Which Picons do I have?

Where can I look to see which picons I have installed? (VIX latest version with Confluence skin on an ET8500)

I can't remember which ones I installed when I was setting everything up. I have tried looking in the picon folder in Filezilla but there is no identification. (I tried downloading one to see if there were any properties but there wasn't).

If you simulate uninstalling, you should see what picons you have installed.

Hmm, I presume that you mean got to plugins then 'remove plugins'. I have no picons to remove.

So presumably I just have the 'stock plugins' I could have sworn that I had installed some different ones as before I updated and changed the skin I was being prompted to update them.

Than you have picons on a device without having them installed.

You probably had ocram picons installed. These are now not available from the feeds. You can go to his website to download them. Will try and find the link. Have you tried MK picons which are in the download section

I think that may be the case. When I first got my box I had a lot of bother setting it up but once I had it sorted I think that I went through the Vix manual and worked my way through it and they were the ones that were demonstrated.

No worries - I will just have a play around and look at some others (it was just really a backup if I didn't like anything else as they are large and you can see them easily on ET8500 LCD screen when you are changing channels)

You can attach some of them here. Zip them first to avoid being squashed by forum software.

Just had a quick look and MK (and a lot in the stickies) look as if they are just 28.2.

I will have to have a sniff around as I need foreign channels also (specifically Italian channels on 13.0)

If you like that type of picon, there are few sets on another forum, but they are not the same dimensions. They go by name of ZZpicons.

I use Ocram's picons 220x132 dark on blue. You will have to download ipk or tar file from picons.eu Chrome works better.

Thanks for this - will have a look at ZZpicons.
I have just found Ocram's website and there are loads so plenty to choose from.

And once I have sussed out how to install them then that will be another item ticked off my virtual knowledge list

I run a mix of MK and Ocram and works for me.
Also if you go to the ocram url and use his system to generate picons (which is pretty straight forward) you can always keep upto date
