vu duo red light

vu duo,vix build unsure which one

When watching tv the other night my vu duo seemed to just shut down but still displayed channel,i could hear the hdd had stopped but remote was unresponsive...i turned off box and restarted but stuck on red light,wondering would this be capacitor fix or more serious?
genuine duo bought of here many moons ago,best box i ever owned lol

i also had the red light issue with starting on front describes the issue to a tee,numerous posts in the duo section of what to do.

thanks pal,tried that still red light...might try something else i can hear power supply when i turn on and off but fan aint turning....aw well no shame great buy from wos back in the day �� served its time well never had a days bother out lived manys another
