    Creating a New skin

    Hi all and Merry Christmas.

    Could anyone in know advise me if there is some software available for creating skins.

    Simply use Notepad++ or PSPad or Programmers Notepad.
    Best start is to open an existing skin and see how things are build; start with some minor tweaks.

    Try to use http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...nSkin-Designer e2 skinner to edit skins sadly it won't work on most vix skins it would be easier if it did.

    That 'skin designer' is indeed obsolete and doesn't support the advanced skin engine we use.
    But as I said: an editor is enough. And some maths, but that's good for the brain!

    where would I find the skins in FileZilla?

    You'll find skins that are installed on our box at /usr/share/enigma2/<NAME-OF-SKIN> , and all our skins can be found at
