New box opinions

Hi peeps

My vu+ duo is on its way out and a bit slow compared to my technomate so looking to replace it...opinions on best box as a replacement without breaking the bank, if you have the time, would be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance

What tuner configuration do you require? 3.5" Hard drive support? Hardware Transcoding? Kodi support?

2 tuners, multi sat, 3.5" hard drive but other than that, nothing more, i use android box for kodi

If you are on a set budget, you would need to consider having 2.5" as you internal HDD option as opposed 3.5" then you have more choice of receivers you can go for. What sort of budget do you have in mind?

Oh you poor dear, sit down and take the weight of it must be exhausting LOL.
That is the thing 3.5" Hard Drive support seems to be seriously ramping the price up, it's a shame the sponsor can't get hold of the Xtrend E8000 anymore, that would have been the droid you was looking for.

Thanks guys, never gave any thought to hdd size in regards price to be honest....budget around £250-£275...sorry, been on nights hence delay in answering
