    IP address change

    Hi using technomate nano se and just tried connecting with lap top on the normal IP address but would not connect due to the last number on IP address has changed is this normal

    Your home router usually assigns IP addresses. Depending on how log it has been since the last connection to the network the router may issue a new one. One way to fix this is to assign a static IP address in your router using the MAC address of your Technomate.

    The very reason I didn't suggest it! The way the OP phrased the question suggested that the simplest solution was to ensure that the router looked after the IP address handling.

    sorry for delay in replying thanks to all who replyed
    just puzzled me as day before fileziller picked it up on
    old ip address then had to change last number day after
    on fileziller once again thankyou for advice
