im getting a service installed with a dish for my house and im just wondering if i can pick the channels upstairs, like multiroom but not through my service provider..??

whats the best way for me to do this.

im looking at the vu+solo 4k box. can i plug it into my sky dish and can i eventually pick up another dish with a motor and get hold of american sports channels etc?

what obstacles will i come to trying to do this?

solo 4k can work motorised and pick up channels from other regions. not sure how though

Depends on which sat those channels are. If the sat is for North America then physics say no can do.

There is a website that tells you sat footprint - areas where you can pick up the signal and size of dish needed.
