Hi I get my Mutant HD1500 tomorrow flashed with latest ViX4E2PROJECT skin.

I'm a complete novice to these boxes having come from a Spiderbox 7000hd,which is a simple to use box.Is it a case of plugging everything in doing a channel scan to start watching tv straight away or are other things that need to be installed first.

I want to use it to view channels on 28.2 using my existing sky dish and I'm only swapping to this box for the epg and hopefully easier to use interface.

If anyone has any info or can point me in the right direction on setting up the new box it would be much appreciated.

We are OpenVix forum. The Vix4E2Project is not supported here.

VIX4E2 Project is a ripoff of OpenViX, see Official OpenViX HERE.

if you do swap to openvix then you will find flashing guides and tuts available from the vix site

i am sure the nice folks here on this forum will help as long as you have had a go with the manual first to flash your box, set up your tuner(s), create your channels listings into bouquets using ABM.
