Fitting a new HDD what's the best way?

Brought a working vu+ solo box but it's got a 250 gb hard drive fitted, and I want to swap it out for a 1tb item, what's the best option? Can I just remove the old one, clone it's contents to the new drive, connect up and it'll work? Or can I use image manager to back an image onto usb?

    Thanks in advance

The internal HDD is just for storage. The VIX image will be loaded onto the box so once you swap the HDD everything will still work as normal from an OS point of view. You may see a loss of EPG info and picons etc but they will be easily replaced

Did you replace the old drive with one the same size and of the same type SATA etc? They should just swap out and the mounting screws should be in the same place!
