    No online update to 4.2.010

    I can see that the OpenVIX version 4.2.010 is already available to download, but on my OS-MINI+ Plus running 4.2.009 it reports "Nothing to update".

    Are the online updates working on the OS-MINI+?

    Or try rebooting your receiver and trying software update again.

    Flashing latest image (by by USB or through Image Manager) and restoring settings plugins is a way to avoid the issue. However, we should really fix the issue.

    For those who installed the image after the kernel change and still not able to update from 4.2 009 to 4.2 010, please issue the following command and post back the output. Guide in signature if you need it.

    Code:
    init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade && init 6

    I've just had to couch flash mine to 010, I commented on this a week or so ago in a separate thread as I too am having this issue with two os mini's, haven't been able to update online to 09 or 010, I've tried the command that Abu posted a few times with no success, I issue the command and the box reboots but doesn't update so there's definitely a problem at vix's end that needs looking into.

    I've never used the software update feature, much preferring to couch flash the box, getting a clean install every time (+settings restore).

    this is a pain, mine was on 4.2.006 and i wondered why there were no more updates. When checking it says no updates etc.

    So i downloaded 4.2.010 and restored the image, then restored my latest backup from 4.2.006 and now i have to download the skin i was using again and install my picons as well :-(

    And remove plugins and add the ones i was using.

    Why is the online update broken ?
