    Advice please :)

    Ok not been on here for a while i still havent bought a box lol but will do over the next few days!!!
    So i am looking at the xtrend 8500 or the Vu+ Solo SE V2 could someone give me the pros/cons for both?
    I wish to watch sat and possibly iptv i dont have cable in my area and would also need to operate it over wifi.
    I am also open to other options

    cheers, would the edision be powerful enough for iptv without glitching ect...

    Ref the Edision just understand its a well supported receiver, which is why I suggested it.
    Obviously from my signature I love my ET8500's - design wise and feature wise I think its a great box, but it's not a traditional looking receiver which is the downside for some people.
    However, at the current price it's a steal

    No, but buy a wifi dongle when you purchase from WoS

    Always best to use hardwired over wifi. Wifi is more hassle than its worth imo.

    Cheers dont have the option to hardwire would you recomend homeplugs then over wifi?

    I use the wifi dongle that I bought with the 8500 from WoS - no problems at all.

    homeplugs will also do the trick. just make sure they good ones
