You will have the same functionality as the previous LNB.

Pretty sure the Solo 2 has internal loop through. If not you will have to have to use a splitter and supply signal to both tuners.

Each tuner must use a separate frequency/channel

A unicable LNB only has one unicable output. You cannot connect two cables to it, unless you use splitters.

Describe how you have connnected your cables.

Thanks Abu, how do I detect which cable is connected to the conventional LNB port, and is there any benefit in just leaving both tuners set up as single& simple or changing it to your suggestion?

Sorry I don't know how to tell which is which. Unicable LNBs do not work like normal LNBs.

Golden rule of tuner configuration: Tuner configuration must match what is connected to it.

I suppose, disable one and configure one only as unicable. If the one you are configuring works fine in unicable mode, it must be the tuner you have connected to the unicable output of LNB. If it fails to tune on some channels, it is the legacy port.

Solo 2. Connect the unicable to tuner B. Connect nothing to tuner A. Set up like my screen grabs except select your correct device and use SCR1 for one tuner and SCR2 for the other.

Well guy's I've given up on this LNB as I only able to get a signal on one of the connections. Tried swapping them over and choosing different settings regarding LNB makes and can only get one tuner working, so just put my old generic LNB back up. will try again in Ernest when I buy a new 4K box early next year. Thanks for all your suggestions.
