    Only HDMI out on receiver

    Hi Guys,
I have the Technomate Nano SE and was hoping to be able to view this throughout the house on various TVs. Unfortunately there is only hdmi out which is plugged into my main TV. Has anyone any ideas as there in no other output from the receiver? I was hoping to use a triax trilink with the eyes so I could change the channel in each room but I have ran out of ideas on how this can be done with this receiver.

    Thanks
    Darren

Hi Avalon, thankyou for your reply. I was thinking instead of using the eyes to change channels I can use an enigma2 app on my phone to do this. My problem is the house is a new build and all the rooms are prewired with coxial cable connected to the distribution box in the roof space. Somehow I need need an adapter that can take an hdmi input with a hdmi output to the tv but also splits this so i can distribute the signal to coxial cable to the roof space and then to the rooms.

Depends on how many rooms you plan to watch TV and how good the WiFi is in your new house, but I would be tempted to buy a multi tuner receiver, and add a few Edision Mini,s in each room which can be controlled from their own remotes.
Then use fallback tuner from the Edision's using WiFi to the main receiver
By the time you have bought gear to run off coax, you probably won,t be much different in price and have far better facilities with direct hdmi to each TV from the edision's and you can watch whatever on each TV
If the wifi is no good, then pull new ethernet cabling through using the coax cables installed (if in ducts even easier to,run in the new cabling)

Another option is Unicable, you could either use a unicable2 set-up to the loft and then distribute via single cable to each room/split. Yet another option is to transcode to other devices eg Kodi boxes which is where i'd like to go once i've got an FBC capable receiver.
The problem I have is the box doesn't have component our scart or Av out. It only has HDMI out.

There's 5 other screens I need to feed. Think I'm better buying a different receiver that has an Av output along with HDMI output.

5 different screens, but they will all watch the same channel ..... at the same time?
You must have your family/other people well trained to put up with no other choice

I have difficulty understanding the audience you are trying to support

There is an AV out connector on the receiver. You have to use the adapter.

Definitely no Av out. You must be looking at the SE plus.

Not worried about the same channel being shown on the TVs. If I managed to get a feed into the kitchen and 1 bedroom I would be happy, but as I mentioned before all rooms is wired in place with coax cable so if i bought a different box with an Av out

So 2 * Edision Mini connected by WiFi (in the box) 2 * 79 = 158 pounds, Fallback tuner to the Technomate and you have complete control of what you watch and hdmi inputs in Kitchen and Bedroom - obviously need spare tuners on Technomate to have all running at same time..
