as above.
Just reflashed my box and on the screen I got the message 4 bad blocks - not critical. This box is barely a week old?
Is this right? Should it go back? Need to understand what the bad blocks are and the impact on the ET8550 itself.

Not something you should be worried, concerned, emotional about
Its normal, or has been on all my receivers - I think the highest was 16

All flash memory has bad blocks but as pointed out its nothing to worry about unless that number starts to increase. My solo2 has had 4 bad blocks for some thing line three years.
