Unhappy Media Player in Kodi on Solo2 looks crappy

    screenshot.png

On Openvix 4.1 using ViX Night HD or OpenViX Blue HD:

From the attached image you can see that media player doesn't match the Skin installed. And the total length of the movie is truncated, leaving part of the 2 shaved off to the left and the last number missing completely.

I have tried changing the Openvix Skin, but this hasn't helped.

Is there any fix for this? Would installing Mediaplayer2 help?

Not too sure about that, it doesn't look at all like the Kodi media player. When I am playing a video through Kodi, and I press the menu button on the remote control, I get up the OpenVIX menu. And I have read on vuplus-community that you can change the default player to mediaplayer2 which is an enigma2 plugin.

Rossi, do you think it would be possible to call the openvix skin for the media player from within Kodi? Or is it crappy one hard coded?

I'm going to check out a few more images to see how Kodi media player looks. I'll check out black hole, openatv and the vuplus default one. Should I try any others?

This is from Black Hole. Nothing come up when you press the OK button, but if you pick left or right you get this screen.

Do you know the name of the mediaplayer or was it just called mediaplayer?
