Streaming Kodi via Enigma 2 box (disabling Vix-busy grpahic)

    Hi

I have a Edison Os-mini which I also use for streaming to Kodi-loaded devices (laptop, android box etc).
All works well except that there is naturally a CPU overhead on the box causing the Vix-busy graphic appearing at the top left part of the screen.

Is there anywhere that I can disable this setting so that processing continues in the background but there is no spinning overlay (much like a mouse egg-timer).

    Thanks

Don't think you can disable it.

As far as I know you can remove it, if you ftp to your box and delete the "spinner" folder which contains the .png files that make up the actual spinner . It's located in /usr/share/enigma2.

I have never done this personally so if you decide to give it a try probably best to make a back up first, just in case.

You can disable it so it doesn't show when watching the tv, can't remember which menu it is in but it is called display spinner.
