    VU+ Solo2 vs Mut@nt HD2400

    Hi

I am new to this & have found the forums very informative

I am after a twin satellite tuner that can have a simple to use EPG - would love cable but its not available where I am

The ability to play IPTV streams would also be a bonus

A lot of people recommend the VU+ Solo2 but checking the Mut@nt HD2400 it seems a much better box for not much more money - it seems a no brainer or am I missing something?

If you were looking to spend up to £250 what would you recommend?

thanks in advance for any advice

    Brett

Both are great receivers, you won't go far wrong with either.

HD2400 can have up to 4 plug and play tuners and does hardware transcoding like Duo2.

I bow to your greater knowledge but does that make it a 'much better box' or just offers something different should you require it (as does the Solo)

I never stated it was a 'better' box, but it is higher spec compared to the Solo2. All depends on the op's requirements
