    IPTV Player error on Vix4

    Hi All

Reinstalled plugin tonight(had FTPd and deleted all old info left behind) but I'm getting the error below. I can't seem to find much online to help.

"fatal error! you openssl is not supported"

I think the plugin is working on but the error worries me in case it affects other things?!
    Thanks

Can't believe after checking loads, it's only the latest 116.00.01 that gives me the error! Why do they update it so much eh cause the streams seem to update without updating all the time?!

Just see this haven't had a chance to test it yet but looks like it gets rid of the error.

    iptvplayer 117.00.00.00

    whats new:
    -Add new host crtanko.com/.
-Goldvod add info clarify no valid links error.
-Detect new version of OpenSSL 1.X without symbol OPENSSL_1.0.0 at now not supported by IPTVPlayer.
    -Add new host darshow.com/

    thanx @ samsamsam

The update works fine on 3.2 this seems to be a 4.0 issue.

He has fixed that Messagebox crash. You can update by

Menu > Setup > System > Configure IPTV Player > Select update > press OK

The developer of the IPTV-player lives at
    Code:
    http://forums.openpli.org/topic/38172-iptv-player-development-thread/
So there you can find many answers about the plugin, that's under heavy development.

There is still an issue with the latest 170.01.01.00 as its saying that the version of OpenSSL is not supported and fails to install wget and f4mdump.

so over on the pli forums samsamsam is saying he has no plans to support openssl 1.0.2 which is what vix 4.0 is using, so if you want a fully working iptv player you need to use the older images with openssl 1.0.0. I for one will not be forced to stay on an older version of vix just so i can use his plugin.

Ok so I put in an enhancement request and samsamsam has said he will add to his to do list but without priority, so it looks like we will be waiting a while to get a working version for the latest vix.
