    Do I take it that Vix isn't currently looking at supporting/incorporating Kodi then?

    Well I have only ever seen image mods for Kodi on Vu+, Mut@nt and Wetek, so its a pretty exclusive group of receivers, and a limited number of developers to do any changes..... so if you are expecting it across the board I would think you are going to be disappointed even if the drivers could be made available ... but ..........

    Any details on where to get started with this? I'm happy to compile things myself but never found out how to compile your stuff or create a build environment

    i bought an nvidia shield for kodi.
    works a treat, 4k + HD-Audio. (lovely)
    Vu Ultimo4K, OpenViX 5.0, 8xdvb-c, 8xdvb-s2, 2xdvb-t2
    Vu Solo4K, OpenViX 5.0, 8xdvb-s2
    Dreambox DM900, OpenViX 5.0, 2xdvb-s2, 2xdvb-c/t2

    similar here, got dirt cheap mac mini to run Kodi / Showbox / UKTVNow on it to change from my Vu+ it takes only one button on remote
