    USB not visible to save Picons

    I am trying to install picons on my USB but it is not on my list of available devices.

    I believe my USB is mounted correctly

    Any help please ?
    VU+ Duo 2, 2TB HDD, 1 x DVB-S2 Twin Tuner (Openvix 4.1.004)
    Mutant HD2400, 1TB HDD, 2 x DVB-S2 Tuners (Openvix 4.1.004)
    Openbox v8s (Collecting Dust)
    Fixed 28.2E Dish with Octo LNB
    Amazon Firestick, Amazon Fire TV

    Usb sticks must be formatted as ext3 before you can install picons.

    Just to add, any linux file system will do. When you initilise using the imnage, it will use ext 4, which is fine too.

    This need for a linux file system applies to installing picons from plugin feeds. If you transfer (not install) then you can use a fat 32 device.

    If your receivers has ample flash memory, picons are best stored there.

    and others are possibly thinking what size is ample depending on what box they have,and if never used picons would not have a clue
