    Lose a single transponder?

Is it possible to lose a single transponder on an LNB?

I can't get 11053 H on 28.2 - was watching it and I suddenly got a tune failed. Does it on both tuner A & tuner B on my fixed dish. Works fine on my motorised dish though.

I've checked all the channels on that transponder and I can't get any of them - checked other horizontal transponders and they are ok.

The fixed dish and LNB are less than 12 months old.

    just one transponder sounds strange.
i'd rather think that the dish needs some adjustment.

Fortunately I have a guy coming out to change my motor on my USALS dish tomorrow, so I'll get him to check the alignment on the mini dish at the same time.

Ask him to check all the outputs on the LNB on the minidish.

The mini dish had moved - strange to lose a single transponder though!

Anyway, my SNR has shot up from 68% to 99% now :-)

Looks like you were not far from losing a few more if not all as the dish had moved enough to weaken all channels/transponders , 11053 may have been the first casualty due to being the weakest of them all.
