Just to introduce myself---- From central Scotland and been using satellite since 1988!!! jees---that old!!! at present using spiderbox---vu+ and latest is extrend9500--

I also just joined and have been around sat. TV since the 80s. Just returned and trying to catch up. Started with Echostar 4500 & 5500 and a 1.5m IRTE prime focus (which I still use with a Uniden positioner). Pre-Sky, watched stuff (MTV, CNN, CMT & odd Star Trek episodes in NTSC) on 27.5W ku and later 13E Filmnet (alternate frame video) and RTL Veronique (suppressed synch & used colour burst to reconstruct), Saudi ch 2 on S band, NTA ch10 Lagos and other weird stuff on C band. Got a DM7000 in '94 which gradually became less useful - started with RuDream > Hydra > PLi. Now trying to decide which Enigma 2 box to get.
