Miraclebox Premium Micro next to Technomate TM-NANO-SE M2

I bought one of each of these recently and just wanted to pop these up in case they help anyone trying to decide on one or the other.

Personally I prefer the Miraclebox looks, size and remote as Sicilian said I would (I have an XP1000 and LX3 with the same remote as the MB) although I bought the Technomate for someone who wanted everything inbox (i.e. no external HDD) so figured I'd do a quick side by side before I go and setup the TM elsewhere.

Spec wise the boxes are pretty much identical internally - if you want optical audio out you have to go with the Miraclebox out of these two and if you want an internal HDD you go with the Nano.

I'm back down there in a week or so mate so I'll take the TM with me and get some pics - that's going elsewhere to be connected to 19.2 but they're on holiday until the 4th December so plenty of time for me to tinker

Shame Tm stoppped using the aluminium bezel.

Yeah I think it's high gloss black plastic but I haven't removed that protective film yet - I was hoping the remote would have had the four TV buttons like the old learning one used to have but they're missing too on the M2.
