    Can't Pickup TP96 11568 Vertical?

    Hi Guys,

I'm Using a Horizon Meter. I've set up many satellites without an issue.

I went to this friends house who isn't getting signal on a Transponder TP96 11568 Vertical.

I checked the Signal quality and he was getting around 50%, It seemed as though the dish was positioned in front of a telephone pole so i repositioned the dish as couldn't get more than 50%.

I now can get 91% Signal Quality but still can't pick up this transponder.

I've changed the LNB just in case it was faulty but even with a new LNB still the same.

This is on a Genuine Sky+ HD Box, Also tested it on a Skybox F3 just in case genuine box had a faulty Tuner.

Any Help please? What could block this specific transponder? Could it be local interference? If so how can i overcome this issue?

    Many Thanks

Has your friend got a DECT (cordless) phone ? I had a similar issue a few years back , re-positioned the phones base station and everything worked great. Just switch it off at the mains and see if it's causing the problem
