    Philips Hue working with enigma2?

    Hi all,

Is there a way or is it possible to connect Philips hue lighting system to a Duo2?
If so can someone please tell me how.

    Thanks

just doing a quick search, easiest way is that the hue bridge has a restful interface, so you could probably construct a URL call to control this.
Then you could put this into a shell script and have the scripts with the vix scripts view

    Hi Pembo,
Thanks for the reply, works great with xbmc on other platforms where the lights adpted to the scene.
I have found one plugin that works on the duo2 where I can select scenes.

    Hi Trial,

Thank you for the reply but this is over my head!
Shame there isn't just a plugin to create ambience with motion of whats on the screen.

Here is an example of what I mean.

    Hi,
there are several enigma2 solutions but as of now no solution with Hue. There were rumours that enigmalight might get hue support.

That is such a shame, with smart lighting becoming more affordable and more popular.

I have found one way of doing it which is streaming what I am watching to MBP and using HueImmersive to capture the colours on screen.
Is it possible to stream what I am watching live ie. when you change channels it changes on stream as well?

    Hi,
I never heard of such an option.

boblight with Hue but also in German.

btw. AmbiVision.tv might be worth a look because it should work with different sources not only STB.

    ciao
