Which Receiver

Hi everyone, new here so can anyone advise which is the best receiver between the xtrend 8000 and the equivalent Vu? really only need single/twin tuners so no need for multiple spaces.

if you only need 2 tuners then the VU Solo2 is an Excellent Receiver and will do every thing that you need

Price a question?
Then look at the ET7500 will do wonders for the price, but more of a 2nd receiver eg bedroom.
Outside of the UK, Xtrend and Vu are pretty equivalent in terms of product quality and support and importantly .. Having been around for a while.
Had both ET8000 & ET10000 and both were excellent quality and delivered as specs... But so good they were boring ... just worked as described ......
For me the ET8000 is the perfect receiver ... Unpack, plugin, power up, complete the wizards watch the TV

And the ET800 doesn't do blindscan... Swings and roundabouts. All depends what the OP wants.

LOL, your a VU+ fanboy! Imo quality is on par and I'd prefer Xtrend remote over VU's anyday Et8k much more versatile in terms of being able to have 3x plug & play tuners. Solo2 limited in only having 2x fixed tuners.

pmsl. Nnnnnnooooooooo not at all. I do like the Vu+ Solo2, still a fantastic receiver and no way ozay the Vu+ universal remote is wwwaaayyyy better!! lol

big vu family here solo/duo/solo2 and had to move to a quad et 10000 big remotes ya cant lose

The ET10000 has the best remote of any of my receivers by a country mile
