When saving bouquets, what should I consider to keep compatibility with ABM?
I am not sure if it requires specific formats, special patterns to keep numbring!

    EDIT:
I got one; invisible markers, thanks towl. Anything else?

IMHO there's no need to add any kind of compatibility with ABM. After editing ones settings, the first thing one would do is an ABM-run.

Rob, sorry but I run ABM then use DBE (for the benefit of my German relatives) to slot German channels into the 1st 70 slots followed by the ABM generated UK Bouquet's followed by other Bouquets.

Well, not sure if such an exceptional use should be supported by editors. ABM is supposed to do a proper job itself, without external interference.
Maybe, if you have a special request, ask if it could be implemented?

ABM does a super job and it is fine, I am just using the editors to manipulate the bouquets - I just expect them not to delete the fillers, which are valid - you are allowed duplicates in DBE, which these are.

When the German channels are in the ABM provider 19.2 Sky Deutchland , you can use the custom mix functionality for this.

In the next release, E-Channelizer will support the hidden markers (reading/writing)!

Yep, but my in-laws normally watch the main FTA channels, so they (like Das Erste) go into the 1st 50/60 slots followed by UK in slots 101 onwards followed by the rest of 19.2 channels in subsequent bouquets.
Being extremely polite, my in-laws are not technically minded - so have to make it very simple, 2 digits numbers, 1 screen of TV channels to choose from

Both ABM plugins are great - but still need to use a channel editor .... Its simple, easy and quick after running an ABM plugins

@SayyiD, it would be nice if this editor was fully compatible with ABM so we don't need to re-run ABM after doing a simple edit in a non-ABM bouquet. Also means people can do minor edits to ABM bouquets. Main problem seems to be the 832 markers.

@twol, is there an equivalent to Freesat in Germany, i.e. a set-top-box that downloads the main FTA channels and puts them in order?

I wish! ... But I really don,t know of one..... But will have another look
Whats worse is that most houses/flats have (& still do) use satellite reception almost every where so you would expect there to be an agreed standard channel order.
Sky (Deutschland) just kind of lets the "other" channels fill the 1st 100 slots.
With my in-laws I just ask them to write down the order they want and I set it up accordingly.... And that has been true for every sat receiver they have ever had ..... Its not unknown for them to give me a midnight call to come and fix their receiver because channels have disappeared ...... Even on the Sky receiver!
