    Subtitles for movies

    am trying to find if its possible to put subtitles for a movie and watch through my solo2 (on 010 hades). if so, what is best way of doing this?

    I think you can get a subtitle downloader plugin.

    Also I think if there's a subtitle file which has the same name as your movie file and is in the same folder, then it should pick it up automatically

    That's right when you want subs on a film you need to make sure the sub file is included in the folder of the movie you play

    thanks guys. I've tried to download subdownloader but error message keeps coming up. will send movie and subs over to box and see if that works. will feedback shortly.

    tried sending subtitle file to box including movie, movie is there and plays but no subs playing. also done this by folder and movie shows but no sub coming up or showing. if i open up FTP the sub file shows, but when I go to the movies on the box the srt files is not showing

    The movie file and the srt file, need to have ecactly same nam, excepts for the .srt or .mp4 or .avi, works great for me, and the subs is automatically picked up from the default player. have to be in same direktory also. I am on Hades 10 on solo2.

    the movie and srt file are exact the same, it does not show in the srt file does not show on the folder, which is in same folder as the movie

    Hi, I cant see them on the stb, but with ftp, or the windows browser, have samba installed, I have no sub plugins or anything, try to upload a picture from each.sub.JPGsubs2.jpg

    I think I've sorted it. I had the sub file named wrong. what a dip

    Glad you sorted it, as I am Swedish, i have a lot of subtitled movies, and I hav mispelled srt files lots of times..
