AutoBouquetMaker not updating

The AB is not updating overnight and when I look at the Log Report it shows a series of 'fails' Tried to do it manually but no joy. The result is some channels are not working. When I select the channel I get a blank screen and various messages like Timeout for tuner lock - timeshift not possible and tune failed
The box was purchased recently from WOS with Vix preloaded. I have not had any problems to date and have not changed anything prior to this happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Owing to the shuffling of services to use teh narrow beam satellite, the details of the transponder we use to obtain the data for freesat need editing.

If you replace the provider file with the one in this thread, you will be fine. (Provided you can receive the satellite, i.e not too far abroad)

The channels I can not get are on sky (some I can get) not Freesat - is your solution still applicable ?

Yes, sky sports is affected if you have Freesat setup in ABM.

Thanks very much both. I will try later on as I new to this type of stuff and the next step scares me slightly. I assume I transfer the file via Filezilla or the like. Is there a an instruction link anywhere ?

Yes filezilla is how you transfer it iv tried it but i still have alot of channels missing i took freesat out all together and i still have alot of channels missing different ones than when i had freesat scanned.

Yes, it is a file transfer by filezilla

ABM works as a whole process. If one of the providers fails, they all fail. It only takes a few seconds to transfer the file.

When I try to trnsfer the file it tells me - target file already exists and gives me series of options regarding over writing it. Do I overwrite and will it make any differance if it's already there ?

Yes, overwrite.

We want to replace the old file which has values that no longer work with the new one.

I have transfered the file as instructed but now I have no Sky channels at all. I have done a Service Scan/Restarted GUI but no joy. I then went into ABM/Start Scan and I get the message:
Very sorry your reciever has encountered a software problem please send log to ............ If I go into the LOG it just tells me ABM autostart is enabled and when it will next run.
