Whats the difference between DVB-S2 and DVB C/T tuners. Which should I order?

so the one thing you can do is setup alternatives, where a freeview channel (e.g. BBC1HD) is an alternative to BBC1HD on Sat, and therefore if you're recording/watching other channels not on the same transpoder as BBC1HD and want to record something on BBC1HD, but you've got no free sat tuners left, it would resolve the alternatives to your freeview device and record it there.

Only 'but' is this doesn't work well with ABM right now.
When I get a quieter work period and work isn't eating all the hours of the day, I want to look to write an E2 plugin to enumerate the Sat channels, and the freeview channels and setup the alternatives automatically

DVB-S2X or FBC? IS this comparable or something completely different
Thinking of buying 4k box, not sure if Octagon SF4008 or pay a bit extra for FBC on VU+ Uno 4K

You need to first define your receiver requirements - what satellite(s) are you trying to pick up, how many tuners do you need, how many recordings in parallel are you really going to need etc etc
... the you might get a valid answer ...... but DVB-S2X and FBC are totally different things.
