    TM Twin disqec not working

Technomate TM-TWIN-OE 1.2m Elliptical dish, TM dual feed lnb, TM Motor

Hi all, when I try anything with the disquec on the twin it fails, using vix Apollo 91, as soon as I select 1.2 it drops the signal to the motor (Tm motor) it will allow the dish to be moved in positioner but wont save the position. Also if it is switched off at the rear it sits on the second loading screen and wont get past it ,it has to be reflashed before it will re boot as normal, was going to have another go tonight to move dish to Hotbird, I still have power to the motor when I allow disquec and can move the dish at the motor . The dish has been in position for a few years now and is in alignment. Any ideas would be appreciated

Have you got your cables the right way round?
Also, what have you set the cable connected to 2nd port of motorised dish as?

Yes cables are all as they were when used with another box, second lnb port is empty just now, it did feed another reciever in a summer house.

I have now changed the lnb to a tm 1 gold single output, checked all cables and connections to and from the reciever and dish, and still as soon as I try and enable the disquec in settings it drops the signal from the dish, when connected to another tm box it all works fine with the same settings as the twin, I am starting to suspect that the twin has hardware problems, as its only a few weeks old I think it might be time to return the box to be checked.. Anyone any other ideas ?
forgot to mention it is connected to a TM- 2600 motor

Is it the same if you use USALS?

The tuners are independent, try the other tuner.

it doesn't matter which tuner i use it wont move the dish, it did move it once but as soon as I go into the reception settings and enable diseqc 1.2 or any other setting it wont move the dish when told to.. the green light is still lit at the positioner and I can move it manually by pressing the button on the motor but when i try and move the dish when in positioner setup it doesn't move it
It will only allow a signal through when set to single satellite and dq off

You say "it will tune to 28.2 east and it will save the position", but as you use USALS there is no position to be saved.
You use either USALS or not and save all satellite positions.

Just to echo Rob's post, you do not need to save positions when using USALS. Please forget Diseqc motor controls for now, lets leave USALS.

We have established receiver drives motor and locks onto a signal. Please reflash your receiver. Setup the tuner configuration as in my screenshot. Obvioulsy make sure your co-ordiantes and east/west are correct. For testing purposes, run ABM fro a Sky It, Tivusat, Sky UK (SD) and Turksat. Report back after installaton. Can you attach the file callled "settings" to your response. It is located in /etc/enigma2/
