    Lost SD channels

    Hi,

    I have an original card in a Vu duo2, recently it has stopped decrypting certain SD channels but it is definitely still working as I can decrypt subscription channels e.g. gold but sky 1 doesn't.

    Channels decrypt in an official box so my entitlements are correct.

    The oscam log shows impossible to descramble messages, any thoughts on why it has suddenly stopped working?

    Thanks

    I assume that you know that putting your card in the Sky box will pair it with that Sky box.

    It could be that the channels that don't clear for you are now considered premium by Sky - like sports and movies - and therefore will no longer work in your VU+ box.

    The only solution is to unpair the card.

    The card has been paired to the sky box already, I lost HD a long time ago, but I have always had SD clearing. Has SD been closed down like HD?

    From what I understand you will lose some 'premium' SD channels to the new pairing method if you've put your card in your official box recently. This is subtly different to the recent loss of HD channels. The HD channels will only work with the new pairing method, even if your card has been near an official box. The SD channels will work with both old and new pairing methods, but if you've put your card into your official receiver recently, then (assuming it's one of the newer boxes) the card is recoded to no longer clear the premium SD channels using the old pairing method, and hence (like HD channels) will no longer work out of an official box.

    I am surprised when you say you always had SD clearing even with a paired card.

    Because I thought that SD premium Sports and Movies channels stopped working in unofficial boxes a long time ago once your card was paired to the official box.

    Well I updated to the latest image, recreated my Oscam settings and it's all working now - I have narrowed it down to ECM white list line causing the issue:

    ecmwhitelist = 0963:3B,3E,42,44,45,47,4B,4E,4F,5E,5F,53,54,56,61, 62,65,66,67,68,69,6A,6B,6C,6D,6F,70,71,72,FFFFFFFF ,74,76,77,78,79,7A,7C,7D,7E,80,82,84,85,88,8B,9A

    I'm not sure if anybody can tell me if it's important?

    @timofee - only HD are effected by the paring (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...046#post287046)

    The whitelist should detail which channels the ecm are requested for, you would only put entries in here if there was other 0963 ecms you wanted to blacklist if you know what I mean.
