    Question Satellite receivers issues

    Dear Satellite Engineers,

    I have 2 satellite dishes.
A 10 foot mesh dish antenna for C/Ku band.
And a 24 inch dish for Ku band.

I have the problem to share with you, and ask
if anyone knows and have, had the efforts
to fix it. Also my comment on this subject..

Enclosed screen shots on PDF attachment.

First of, we all knows satellite receivers work
differently. They're NOT all the same functional.
Some can be automatic easy setup satellite installation
with blind scan. Others requres manual setup with NO
    blind scan.
And some do have Closed Captioned support.
Others don't. Which is sad for people with hearing impaired
    or deaf.

Do anyone knows or have a "PRG" file for
    Coolview X3 HD receiver????

    The one I'm experiencing is

    Coolview_X3_0102_0625P.prg
    3 MB size.

It was posted on June 26, 2014.
It's suppose to have the latest satellites
    and satellites' channels.

This file I'm experiencing, it doesn't
have all of latest satellites' channels.

For example, for Galaxy 14 C-band satellite at 125 West,
all it shows list of 20 scrambled channels,
    that's it. I don't see TBN channels that's
    on Galaxy 14 C satellite.

However, compare with other satellite receivers, I have,
GeoSat Pro HDVR 1200 and Skybox F3 receivers, are
able to receive TBN channels, plus 20 other scrambled
    channels.

With Echostar 14 satellite at 119 West, using a 24 inch
dish, Coolview X3 HD receiver unable to complete
it's scan. It scanned all 26 transponder, and
Coolview X3 HD file couldn't list channels
    on those 26 transponders.

Compare with Sonicview 360 Premier, GeoSat Pro
HDVR1200, and Skybox F3, receivers, are able to
scan channels on all 26 transponders,

NOTE, The Coolview X3 HD does NOT have "Standard"
option for LNB type. It only has "Single" and
    "Universal" options.

    My comment:

I am wondering, from my experience,
some satellite receivers has it's own automatic
settings for every satellite, so it would be easier
to scan and list the complete satellite channels.
Other satellite receivers, don't. They may have
either NOT set it in advanced for an easy scan??
which you would have to setup every satellite
    settings yourself, MANUALLY.

Or the software file that has list of satellite and
satellite channels, isn't complete design to
have automatic satellites setting. Such as
the frequency, transponders, and the LNB type.
You would have to do that yourself, MANUALLY.

Sonicview 360 premier, GeoSat Pro HDVR1200,
and Skybox F3 receivers, does has in advanced
satellites setting to be ready scan and shows
list of satellite channels. You would NOT have
to do it manually, and wouldn't have to pay
attention to know every satellites settings.

But with Coolview X3, you have to do it manually.

This also depends on the manufactures that makes
the satellite receivers. Or software for satellite receivers.
Such as Factory file and satellite list file.
AND some satellite receivers don't have
    Closed Captioned support, "CC".

    Sonicview receivers
    GeoSat Pro MicroHD
    Cisco D9865
    Pansat 9200HD
    Viewsat 2000
    Coolview X3 HD

Does has Closed Captioned support, "CC"
for the deaf and hearing impaired, like myself.

    Skybox F3
    GeoSat Pro HDVR1200
    Capainmax
    Coolsat
    Manhattan RS-1993

Does NOT have Closed Captioned support, "CC".

My question is, if any of you out there
have a LATEST "PRG" file for Coolview X3 HD
receiver, that has ALL satellites settings
    in advanced and automatic settings??

That way the scan would be easier to collect all
    complete satellites' channels??
By not worry about doing it manually.

    I also include the Coolview_X3_0102_0625P.prg
file for you, IF you do have a software that would
allow you to ALTER the file to make changes
so that all satellites settings would be automatic,
and able to scan all satellite channels. IF you can.
IF you can, then you can return the file to me with
    fixes.

I hope you understand my situation with satellite receivers.

Please review my PDF attachment that shows screen shots of
satellite receivers. Shows some does work and others doesn't.
I wish you could help in-person, here to witness the problem.

I wish that you have a file that I could install into Coolview X3HD
receiver. Or send you the receiver to program it. But I believe it
would would work at my end once IF you program my receiver at your
end, before sending back to me...

I'll be happy to send you my DM500S HD receiver.
It's too hard to setup by manual.

    Hope all helps for answers.

    Thank you.
