how to turn on instant email notification ?

whereabouts is the place i make that change, i cant find it ???

you know what i mean, i want to switch it on so that i get instant emails when someone replies to one of my post or a thread i'm posting in or one i'm subscribed to ?

i dont want to have to turn it on/off manually all the time from in the post.

scroll down till you see the heading
Default Thread Subscription Mode: it is in the Messaging & Notification section.
then change the text in the drop down box to your preferred option and scroll to the bottom of the page to press save to save your selection.

Done, that it then simple as that ? i like to get instant emails of replys of threads ive started and also threads that i have posted in, so should that do it ? yea ?

yes thats the option to turn on email notifications of the threads you subscribe to. as default i turn mine off as i'm a bit of a post whore and can easily make a few hundred posts a day.
