    If you are not getting the press up arrow message to flash your USB stick is NOT being recognised or the file structure is wrong on the USB stick.

    Can this be added in the OpenVix,

    You can add a date in the VFD in Standby
    If you edit with Linux editor skin.xml from skin you are using.
    (/usr/share/enigma2/skin name )

    <screen name="StandbySummary" position="0,0" size="132,64">
    <widget source="global.CurrentTime" render="Label" position="0,0" size="132,64" font="Regular;30" halign="center" valign="center">
    <convert type="ClockToText">Format:%H:%M:%S-%h.%d</convert>

    ONLY This is to be changed %H:%M:%S-%h.%d (as above and you will get comething like this: 14:38 - April.10)

    B-t-w, I got this from some other forum - Tks to Matrix10
    PS: B-t-w, I think the above is for E2 VU+ but you can try with your DM-800

    Thanks in advance.

    The MB Twin certainly shows the date and time in standby already, don't know about the mini.

    Oke I solved the problem.
    The StandbySummary Format settings are incorrect for my use.
    With a XMLeditor I edit the file “skin_display’’.

    <!-- standby -->
    <screen name="StandbySummary" position="0,0" size="132,64">
    <widget source="global.CurrentTime" render="Label" position="0,0" size="120,64" font="Regular;48" halign="center" valign="center">
    <convert type="ClockToText">Format:%H:%M %d/%m</convert>

    In the OpenVix Image the “ ClockToText’’ is different, day and month reads before the time
    So after scrolling the date info remain in the display!
    The settings above are correct after scrolling the time remains in the display.
    It will be nice if OpenVix change this in a Image update for Miraclebox Premium.
