ET6000 does ot load and turn on

    Hi All,

I need help in my box. I have a xtrend 6000 and suddenly the box donīt load and does not show the front lights, however I know that the box is ok because when I put a usb stick the box read but dont turn on. My guess is the issue is on the flash but I donīt have the sure. Someone has any idea what is or can someone tell how to make a hardware reset to factory settings ?

Thank you in advance for your help,
    jazzB

So load up the latest Vix image onto the stick and reflash...... power on with the stick in the front usb port, hitting the up button when it accesses the USB stick should do it.
Leave to flash and reboot (automatic after flashing) and hopefully will come up on your screen.
If that doesn't work try flashing the bootloader first - all to be found under the ViX Images (far right) tab on the top bar of this page.

I thought you said it tried reading the USB stick? Hence the suggestion of hitting the UP button when the usb stick light flashes - I realise that no lights on the receiver probably means it's dead, but thought it was worth seeing if it would still load up from the USB.
