    Hard Drive for Solo2

    Hi all

My Solo2 is on it's way and I was hoping to fit a spare 3.5" drive that I've got knocking aroound. Can I just check that any size hard drive will fit a Solo2 or will it only accept 2.5" drives? If the latter any recommendations for a 1TB drive would eb appreciated

    Cheers

The Solo2 is designed to take a 2.5 inch hard drive. I don't think a 3.5 inch one will fit in the receiver.
I have been running a 1TB Western Digital AV hard drive for the last 16 months without a hitch.

Is it a simple enough process to fit at hard drive to the solo 2? I was considering upgrading mine to give me more storage space.

it's fairly strait forward if you take your time as the Solo2 is well built here are a few pic's of the inside and the HD caddy
