    Question Scan before ABM scan?

Hi, kinda a noob question but need to be 100% sure I have just flashed my Vu+Duo 2 receiver with the OpenViX Helios. 008 image. I wanted to know do I have to do a scan by going to Setup/Service searching/Automatic scan or can I skip this and just do a scan with ABM (AutoBouquetsMaker). Because I have read somewhere that ABM or Autobouquets E2 by Lraizer needs the latest lamedb file so need to do a service scan?

Depends on your needs, sats available and so on...
If only 28.2E (or others included in ABM), an ABM scan is just fine & saves a lot of time.

Then you have no need to do any thing other than to setup and run ABM, it will do every thing you need.
