    offset dish

    i have just got myself a 1m offset dish can anyone explain what the benefits of an offset are, if any and don't wish to sound daft but it looks odd bolt holes have a bias to one side shape etc., have i got myself a lemon

    Yep up until a size of 1.2-1.3m almost all dishes are offset these days, it tends to be the norm... Also ofset dish will work with DiSEqC motors, where as a prime focus dish generally errrrr won't :P
