    Wall or roof?

Is it better to install a dish (static or motorised) on the roof or wall?

Which option will give better signal levels?

    Thanks

    Hey mate

With respect to signal level then it the line of sight that counts not if its on wall floor roof or chimney. from experience i would say anything upto a solid 60cm can go on wall or up to 80cm mesh and anything above 1 metre ground mount it. with 1m you can ground it or wall it depending if its fixed or motor, fix on wall with T K brackets not L bracket. I would not recommend chimney or high roof as getting to it when ever needed is going to be a pain.

The main factor to signal levels is a quality LNB and a respectable sized dish according to the satellite you are trying to catch.

    Hope that helps
