evad3rs have released an update for evasi0n7, the untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 – iOS 7.0.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
evasi0n7 1.0.1 does not include the controversial TaiG Chinese App Store, which came bundled with the untethered jailbreak when it was released over the weekend.
evasi0n7 1.0.0 installed TaiG Chinese App Store instead of Cydia if the language on the computer was set as Chinese. This resulted in a major backlash from the jailbreak community as the Chinese App Store was hosting pirated apps.
evad3rs had disabled the default installation of the TaiG Chinese App Store due to the backlash on Sunday to investigate the privacy issues reported about the Chinese App Store.
But it looks like they have not been able to resolve the issues as they have now removed TaiG from the package:pod2g does note that the update does not include fixes for the compatibility issues reported by iPad 2 users, and hope to release an update to fix the issues soon.
If you’ve already jailbroken your iOS device using evasi0n7 then you can ignore the update.
