    Homeplugs

    would homeplugs provide a better service when not plugged into an extension? if yes I will need to get another socket fitted

    My homeplugs drop out when connected through an extension / adapter. Much more reliable when plugged directly into socket. I know its not what you wanted to hear but.........

    I only make one connection to homeplug to minimize dropout. Might work though.

    I have home plugs (Linksys ones) on extensions and work fine can't use them if extension has surge protection as this blocks signal
