    Automation of Settings

    Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to automate the install of the latest released settings from a provider such as Catseye.

I am currently using the Catseye 75E to 45W settings and was hoping to pull them down directly to my Duo without the need of me using DBedit.

Has anybody done this? Maybe using a daily run script for example.

none that i know, you would need either a private server which is always updated with the latest version and a custom script to detect when a update was available to load to the receiver or the author to setup something him self which i doubt would happen any time soon.

Is there any scope for AutoBouquetsMaker to be extended to other satellites?

Well, Catseye 75E-45W is on the ViX-feeds. So (assuming we keep the settings in the feeds up-to-date, which we try to do) updating your image online also updates the settings (provided they have been installed from the feeds).
