Play avi files from my server to my solo 2

Sorry could not think of a forum this fits into so if its in the wrong place my bad....

Anyhow you see things like icefilms and alike how can i use my own server (for personal use) to stream from?

So say i got a server and i want to play films from a directory on the server to my solo 2 box is there a plugin i could use?

awww thanks but i need mine for the net mate, my server is in france im in the uk

try using the external IP instead of internal and as long as the relevant ports are forwarded on the router it should work

No mate is not working, i have it loaded but i need it to let me do for example myip/directorytomyfiles eg 192.192.193.22/files/avi

In tsmedia u can load your own stream but it says "add your stream to /etc/userstream.xml"

Where would i put the info in here
