    Quick question on diseqc switch

My switch stopped working about a week ago so I replaced it with one from ebay but the new switch didn't work either. I've just spent all morning checking cables and joints and everything is fine, however I've just noticed that the new switch is diseqc 2.0, should this matter? My boxes have only 1.0 1.1 & 1.2.

Nope: the 2.x series are backwards compatible with 1.x settings.

The only difference between 1.x an 2.x is that the 2-series supports status feedback to the box.
