    Hi zYx,

Can't answer the VFD stuff I'm afraid, but will try with some of the other stuff.

Quite easy to change the fonts, you will need to copy the font files over the /usr/share/enigma2/metrixhd/fonts and edit the beginning of the file skin.xml with the new font names. Let me know if it looks any good

VIX menu is fixed in the next update, and I'm aware that some of list's are obscured which will get fixed after the xmas period, however if you can be more specific I can make sure they're fixed quicker.

    Thanks, Steve

If you have an old image, it wont support the 1080p buffer stuff.

Here is the link to my Github, you can download it from here and move it to you box. As Abu says though only the 720 version will work on old images.

It should work fine with any box that runs Vix. It is best to download online in the feeds.

Thanks veskop. Yes this happens on some other channel names too. It can be fixed by making the font smaller but I'm trying to find a better way. Hope to have it fixed in the next week.

Think I'll have a play with MetrixHD soon, I have had it on my box for ages running fine but don't think I've got it in 1080. I did have a weird issue, as I installed it on a friends box (same model as mine) and elements are different. Could this be that I selected 1080 on his and that element of the skin has yet to be made for 1080? For example pushing up brings a simple channel list EPG. On mine it's in metrix but his is like standard vix with some minor metrix parts

Hmmm. Everything included by default in MetrixHD is in Metrix1080, and pushing up on my box brings up the channel list correctly. It could be an option selected somewhere in the settings of his box which brings up a slightly different view. Alternatively this may happen if you installed MetrixHD(not 1080), selected 1080 in the settings and then installed skin parts from the store that aren't compatible with 1080.

My advice would be to ensure thats Metrix1080 installed from the feeds rather than MetrixHD as that is the main version now moving forward. If that is definitely installed please post a screenshot and I'll look into it.

    Hi
It's been a while since I checked here. Glad to see that metrixHD 1080p has released. I just installed it. But I'm not sure where I can customise it? I cannot see any option under skin setup or under plugins. Any help?
    Thanks

Hi Jugulator. The new 1080 skin isn't customisable, it was just proving too problematic with non-1080 skinparts. MatrixHD_1080 is a standalone skin to compliment the original and keep it all light weight.

However....... if you want to have play you can install the original MatrixHD skin - Go into general settings and and there is an option for skin template. Choose the one that says it is 1080 and then make sure you unselect all the default skin parts before building the skin as they are not 1080. You can then change colours and install one of the few 1080 skin parts from the store.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Thanks scwheeler for reply.
At the moment, my main problems are that font size is too small to read. If I cannot increase the size it is a no go for me. Secondly, the progress bar for the elapsed time, is white on white. I would want to change this otherwise it is not very apparent how much the program time has elapsed.

    Thanks

Hi Jugulator, the progress bar should be blue and I will sort that as I don't know why it has changed. As for the text size, it's should be the same as before, which bits are too small and I'll see what I can do
