    Crazy idea.. help

    Hi.
    I have bought all simpson season on dvd. Can i start my own simpson channel?
    so when i feel for looking at simpsons i just zap to the channel..
    What do i need? i understand that it has to be an server that run the channel.

    Why not just rip them to mkv or avi, and play the episode you want?

    Pride bro, imagen, having my on Simpson/Family guy/American dad/South park channel just zap to the channel. that goes on and on and on

    I was trying to read about the subject but didn't find so much.
    my tough buy a cheap computer rip all my dvds and put them in this computer.

    I may be wrong and no doubt if i am some one will chip in and say so, but i don't think what you want is possible. as already said the best way would be to rip the episodes to either a internal HDD in the receiver or a networked drive and play via the inbuilt media player.
