    Question Flashing problems with USB?

    Hi

    Yes i m new here and i ll regards you first!
    I had some years DM800HD and now i bued a VU+DUO and tryed to flash it, ofcourse i was reading how to.....

    I tryed wit BH 1.7.3 img and done that what i had to do.
    Extrated files after rules, USB vith 3 extrad 2 directories and 3 files in front of VU+DUO ON with box and i v got massage starting-usb reading-programimg-finished-out with USB-OFF and ON with BOX but only what happend is that in front of display goes STARTING..... and nothing happends???

    I v got a message weil programming that flash is erased box prgramed and under programing i did not got any error or something , everything seems to be OK.
    But i have startings problems like i said, i try to flash again couse i tought maby was som mistake first time but all was same another time. BOX said that it was programmed and i pulled out USB OFF-ON but is same shit like first time?

    Has anybody some tips or tricks how get a box working?

    Hope someone responds on my Tread, but i must se it again i m new whenn is about VU+DUO Boxes...

    Maybe the build you are trying has boot issues, or the download is corrupt.
    Can't really help with BH as I don't use it, so all I can suggest is you download the latest vix version here & reflash.
    That, or try a downloading the BH image you want again.

    EDIT: do you have the correct bootloader installed?

    I would agree with Judge on this, download the latest VIX image and bootloader file (if required) from this site and extract the compressed file directly onto a clean formatted flash drive. If you need the updated bootloader file then you should flash this first, and then the image, only one file at a time on your USB stick. Remove any other drives and insert the flash drive into the front USB port and reboot your VU. Should be up and running in a few minutes, plus VIX is a great image which I am sure you will be more than happy with.
